In the Spring of 2016, Jon joined mountaineering legend Ed Viesturs and his son Gil as they journeyed to Everest Basecamp, bringing along donated solar panels for local sherpa who were impacted by the 2015 earthquakes. It was an incredibly rewarding mission, as Ed and Gil delivered panels to residences of Khumbu Valley, and the Himalayan English Boarding School in Lukla.
