In the fall of 2014 of 2016, Jon accompanied climbers Melissa Arnot and Ben Jones to the remote Upper Mustang region of Nepal, in search of unclimbed peaks and exploration. The 6 week expedition culminated in the first ascent of Mustang Himal (20,600ft). The content from the trip resulted in a 3 part video series for Eddie Bauer, as well as receiving the National Geographic “Extreme Photo of the Week” and subsequent feature on the Nat Geo Adventure blog.
